Workday Functional Expert
Band: E3
Relevant Experience: 5–8 years in Workday

Role Summary
We are seeking a Workday Payroll Expert to join our Retail domain team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality solutions across Workday Payroll. The ideal candidate will also have working knowledge of at least one additional module— Absence & time off or recruiting.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide functional expertise in Payroll
* Design and develop advanced Workday reports and dashboards
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored HCM solutions
* Support configuration, testing, and deployment of HCM and Recruiting modules
* Ensure data accuracy and compliance across HR systems
* Contribute to incident resolution and ongoing system enhancements
* Apply working knowledge of one additional module: Absence & time off or Recruiting
Required Qualifications & Skills
* 8–10 years of overall IT experience, with 5–8 years in Workday Payroll, Absence & time off.
* Strong expertise in Workday Payroll module
* Proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Advance Reports
* Experience with one of the following modules: Absence & time off, Recruiting
* Understanding of retail HR processes such as onboarding, training, performance appraisal, and workforce development
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Workday Payroll certification
* Familiarity with Workday Prism Analytics and Worksheets
* Experience with Workday Extend or custom reporting frameworks
