Position: Software Development Engineer III (Backend)

Position Overview:
Backend Engineer role focused on building seamless integrations with third-party systems using FastAPI
and Python. The position involves leading the backend engineering team, architecting scalable backend
systems, and owning the entire lifecycle of integration projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the Backend Engineering team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to team members
* Architect and oversee the development of scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend systems
using Python, Django, and FastAPI
* Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to understand
requirements and translate them into technical specifications and deliverables
* Drive the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, estimation, execution, and
delivery of backend projects
* Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, promoting their professional growth and skill
development
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in backend engineering
to drive continuous improvement and innovation
* Own the entire lifecycle of integration projects, from gathering requirements to deployment, ensuring
efficient and maintainable solutions
* Build seamless integrations with third-party systems
* Design scalable backend services
Required Skills:
* 5-7 years of experience in backend engineering using Python
* Expertise in frameworks such as Django and FastAPI
* Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably Technical Lead
* Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and database
design
* Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make strategic and technical decisions
Preferred (Bonus) Skills:
* Experience with B2B SaaS products or similar industries
