Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications and services using foundation models and custom AI pipelines.
Integrate AI models into business systems, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective AI solutions.
Continuously refine prompts, fine-tune models, and optimize AI responses for improved accuracy and user experience.
Stay current with emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices to guide innovation within the organization.
Required Skills and Expertise
Foundation Model Expertise: Deep understanding of large language models and other foundation models — including their architectures, strengths, and limitations.
Prompt Engineering: Proven ability to craft, optimize, and automate complex prompts for generative AI models to achieve precise, consistent outputs.
Software Development: Strong hands-on experience in Python and Node.js, with a solid understanding of modern software engineering practices (APIs, CI/CD, testing, version control).
Preferred Qualifications
SAP AI Core: Experience deploying, managing, and consuming AI models within SAP AI Core.
SAP Joule: Familiarity with SAP Joule as an AI copilot, including creating and customizing skills or agents.
SAP BTP Environment: Strong understanding of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) ecosystem and its integration with AI applications.
SAP HANA Vector Database: Experience implementing semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications using SAP HANA’s vector database capabilities.
